Matha Soda Company

Our place is at 26 Puthoor Road in Ezhukone. It is a fairly quiet spot compared to the big cities, but Puthoor Road still sees its share of traffic. Matha Soda Company is a small operation. We have a few rooms where we handle the washing, filling, and capping. It isn't a high-tech facility by any means. We rely on old-fashioned methods and hard work. Ezhukone is a tight-knit place, and we know most of the shopkeepers who buy our soda. We deliver to the small tea shops and grocery stores in the surrounding villages. Usually, we load up the small truck in the morning and it spends the whole day out on the roads. Dealing with the monsoon rains can be tough because the road gets muddy and it slows everything down. Inside the company, we try to keep things organized, but when you are dealing with hundreds of crates, it always looks a bit cluttered. We don't do any advertising. Word of mouth has always been enough for us. People know the name Matha around here. We just want to keep the machines running and the bottles filled. It is repetitive work, but there is a certain rhythm to it that we like. We’ve been here for years and we’ve seen the road change, but our little factory stays pretty much the same.
