Our place is called Baldwin Ansel 41, located in Santhinagar, Polayathode. If you’re in Kollam, you might know the area. It’s where we handle all our local contracting work. The office isn't very large, but it fits the few of us who manage the projects around Kerala. We spend most of our mornings checking in with the crews and the rest of the day sorting out the logistics. It’s a lot of mundane stuff like ordering cement or checking the weather forecast to see if we can pour concrete. We don't have a big corporate culture here. It’s more about knowing each other and getting the job done without any drama. The office has a few old desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We like it that way because it feels real. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lounge or expensive art. Our work is out there in the structures we help build. People in Santhinagar know us as the people who are always busy with some project or another. It’s steady work and we take it one day at a time. There’s always a bit of dust on the floor from someone coming in from a site, but that’s just part of the business. We just keep our heads down and work. That's really all there is to it.
