Lakky Constructions Private Limited is a small company based in Kollam. Our main spot is Parackattusseril House, which is over in Clappana North. We’ve been working in the construction line for a good bit now. It’s mostly local stuff, helping people build what they need. We don't go for big, flashy projects. We prefer the smaller, manageable ones where we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. The office at Parackattusseril House is where all the planning happens. It’s a quiet place, except when the phones are ringing about sand or cement deliveries. Working in Kollam has its own set of rules and ways of doing things. We know the local guys who do the labor and where to get the best supplies for a fair price. We aren’t interested in corporate talk or big promises. We just tell people what we can do and then we try to do it. Construction is hard work and it gets dusty and loud. We spend most of our time out on the sites anyway. The paperwork is just something we have to get through in the evenings. It’s a simple life. We’ve stayed in Clappana North because it’s where we belong. People know us here. If someone has a question, they just stop by the house. That’s how we’ve always done it and it seems to work for us.
