Our office is located at Gurusagaram in the Ummanoor area, which is part of Kottarakkara in the Kollam district of Kerala. We’ve been here for a while, providing a place for local people to handle their savings and small financial matters. It’s a very rural setting, and our business reflects that. We don't have a big corporate office with air conditioning and fancy lights. Instead, we have a simple room with some sturdy furniture and a lot of record books. Most of our days are spent talking to farmers and local workers who stop by to put a little bit of money aside for the future. We know most of the people who walk through our door by their first names. It’s a friendly atmosphere, even if it gets a bit messy with all the paperwork we have to keep track of. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to be a reliable place for our neighbors in Ummanoor. Sometimes the internet is slow, or we have to deal with power cuts, but that is just part of life in this part of Kollam. We don't use any promotional language or try to sound better than we are. We are just a group of people working together to manage a local Nidhi fund. It’s practical, it’s honest, and it’s right here in the heart of our community at Gurusagaram.
