We are based at a place called Aswathy in the Panchavila area. It’s a local spot where we run the Kollam Lakshya Institute Of Career Guidance. The building isn't huge, but it's where we do all our work helping people figure out their jobs and futures. It’s a bit of a quiet neighborhood, which is good for having long conversations with people about their careers. We have a lot of old guides and books scattered around the main room. It’s not the most modern office you’ll ever see. We use wooden tables and chairs that have been around for years. Sometimes it’s just one of us here, and other times the whole team is in, making the place feel a bit crowded. We don't have a website that’s constantly updated or a big marketing budget. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just walking past in Panchavila. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing down notes on yellow pads. The front porch is a nice place to sit when the weather is cool. We try to keep things simple and honest. If we don't know the answer to something, we just say so and try to look it up together. It’s a humble way to earn a living, but we find it satisfying. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know us pretty well now.
