Kiranlal & Company

Kiranlal & Company is over in Anchalumoodu, which is part of Perinad. We have a small office and storage area here. It’s a quiet enough place compared to the bigger cities. Most of our day is spent checking on orders and talking to people on the phone. The building is tucked away a bit, so you have to look for it. We have a few desks and some old chairs that have seen better days. There is a small window that looks out onto the street in Perinad, and we watch the rain when it comes down. It’s just a handful of us working here. We don't have any big meetings or corporate goals written on the walls. We just try to get the work finished so we can head home. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and we just have to sit around and wait for the van to show up. It gives us time to have some tea and talk about the local news. The floor is a bit uneven in the back room, so we have to be careful with the boxes. We don't use any complicated software, just a basic computer and some notebooks. It’s a relaxed kind of place. We've been in Anchalumoodu for a good while, and most people around here know who we are. We don't make a big deal out of anything, just keep the door open and stay busy.
