Narendran Rubbers

Narendran Rubbers is based in Kadappakada P O, in Kollam, Kerala. Being in Kerala, we are surrounded by a lot of rubber plantations, which is why we do what we do. We’ve been here for years, dealing with rubber in various forms. Our place isn't anything fancy. It’s a practical building where we process things and keep our stock. The smell of rubber is something you get used to after a while. We have a small team of local workers from around Kollam. Most of us have known each other for a long time. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us making sure things are done right. We don't spend money on advertising or big signs. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. The rain in Kerala can be heavy, but we keep working through it. Our focus is just on the daily tasks, making sure the rubber is handled correctly. We aren’t trying to change the world; we’re just trying to run a good local business that supports our families. We like the simple way of doing things. No fancy mission statements, just honest work every day. If you come to Kadappakada, you can find us easily enough. We’re usually around from morning until late afternoon, just doing what we’ve always done. It’s a steady life and we’re happy with how things are going. Sometimes we stop for tea and talk about the news, then get back to it.
