Home 4Rest Foundation is located at Madhavasadanam, specifically in Room No. 2. We are over in the Nedumpana area of Kollam. Suresh is the one who handles a lot of the day-to-day stuff here. It’s a small room, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We spend our time working on things that help the local environment and the people around here. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have a couple of desks, a few chairs, and a lot of maps and papers lying around. People come by to talk about land or trees or just to see what we are up to. We aren't some big city foundation with a lot of money to blow. We’re just local people who wanted to do something useful. Most of the time we are out in the field, so if you come by and the door is locked, we’re probably just out working. We try to be back by the afternoon to finish up the filing. It’s a quiet way to live and work. We don't put out press releases or anything like that. We just let the work speak for itself. It’s been a few years now and we’ve gotten to know almost everyone in Nedumpana. It’s a good place to be. We just keep our heads down and do the chores that need doing without making any big fuss.
