Down in Thevalakkara, specifically in the Karunagapally area, you’ll find Gulf Fiberglass Industries. It’s a bit of a specialized trade we have going on here. Working with fiberglass isn't always easy, and it can be a bit itchy if you aren't used to it. Our shop isn't anything special to look at, but it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. We have a small crew that has been together for a long time, so we all know how to stay out of each other's way. The air is always filled with the smell of the materials we use. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don't have a big marketing budget or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. Most of our work comes from people just knowing we are here in Karunagapally. We try to keep the place organized, but in a workshop like this, there’s always something lying around. If you’re looking for us, we’re right in the middle of Thevalakkara. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we’re just trying to do a good job on the projects we have in front of us. It’s steady work and it keeps the lights on. We don’t make a big fuss about things, we just get on with the task at hand. Every morning we open up and start again.
