We operate out of Murunthal, over in Aperinad. The place is called Aradhana, and it’s where Karunakaran Pillai and the rest of us get things done for Fit Factor Online Services. We aren't a big gym or a fancy health club with neon lights. We are an online service, which means a lot of our work happens on keyboards instead of treadmills. We started this because we saw how many people wanted to get healthy but didn't know where to start. It’s a lot of organizing data and talking to people over the phone or through messages. Our office is pretty quiet most of the time, except when we are debating a new plan or trying to fix a bug on our site. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment around. It’s mostly just desks and a lot of water bottles. We aren't trying to sell anyone a dream they can't achieve. We just provide the tools and the information people ask for. Sometimes we stay late because there’s a lot to catch up on, especially when a lot of new people sign up at once. It’s a bit of a juggle, but we manage. We aren't perfect, and sometimes we fall behind on our own healthy habits because we’re too busy helping everyone else with theirs. That’s just the irony of the job, I guess, but we enjoy the work regardless.
