Esic Model Hospital

Sasi Bhavan is where we operate from, and it’s got its own character, for better or worse. It’s not one of those modern glass buildings you see in the city center. It feels more solid, like it’s been through a lot. Inside, the layout can be a bit confusing for newcomers because of the way the hallways twist. We spend a lot of our time pointing people toward the right elevators or the correct window for their paperwork. The air feels a bit heavy sometimes with the smell of medicine and old paper. We have stacks of files everywhere because we haven't gone fully digital yet, so there’s always a clerk looking for a specific folder. The morning rush is the hardest part of the day. Once that’s over, things settle into a steadier rhythm. We see a lot of the same faces, people who have been coming to this hospital for years. They know the staff by name, and we know which of them likes to complain about the wait. It’s a very human place. There are no fancy brochures or polished receptionists here. Just regular people doing their jobs in a building that has seen better days but still stands strong. We just try to get the work done and make sure everyone gets seen before we close up for the day.
