Employees State Insurance Corporation Hospital

I’ve been working at the Employees State Insurance Corporation Hospital in Ezhukone for a while now. It’s located right in Ezhukone P. O., and most people around here just call it the ESIC hospital. It’s a busy place. Every morning, you see people lined up before the sun is even fully up. We handle a lot of different cases because it’s a government-run facility for workers. The halls can get a bit loud, especially on Mondays. The doctors are always on their feet, moving from one room to another. It isn't a fancy private hospital with soft music in the lobby, but it gets the job done for the folks who need it. We have the usual departments you’d expect, like general medicine and surgery. Sometimes the paperwork takes a bit longer than we’d like, but that’s just how things are here. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we know a lot of the patients by name. We try to keep things moving as fast as possible. The building itself has been here for years and it shows its age in some spots, but it’s sturdy. If you are coming from the main road, it’s easy to find. We just focus on seeing the patients and making sure they get their medicine before they head home. It’s a lot of work every single day, but we are used to the pace by now. There is always someone needing help, so we stay pretty focused.
