Design Architects

We are located near the Balika Mariam LPS, right by the S N College Junction in Kollam. It’s a lively spot, especially when school lets out and the kids are everywhere. Design Architects is our small studio where we spend our days drawing up plans and thinking about buildings. The office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it’s where we do all our thinking. We have shelves full of old folders and sample materials scattered around. Most days, the ceiling fan is humming and we are trying to get through a pile of sketches. Being near the junction means we see a lot of people passing by. It’s a good location for us because it’s easy to explain where we are. We just tell people we are near the school and they find us. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a script. You just talk to whoever is closest to the desk. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the paper and the coffee mugs, but that is just how we work best. We focus on the drawings and making sure the dimensions are right before anything gets sent out. Kollam is a nice district to work in, and this little corner near the college junction feels like home to us now. We try to be helpful and give people the time they need when they have questions. It’s not a fast-paced corporate world here, it’s just us working on architecture at our own steady pace.
