We are up on the 3rd floor of Karthika Towers in Kadappakada, Kollam. It’s right near the fire station. You hear the sirens once in a while. Anthara Artechtural And Interiors has been in this building for a few years now. Being on the 3rd floor gives us a bit of a view. Mostly we are just looking at the traffic down on the street. The office is a bit cluttered. We have samples of tiles, wood, and paint charts everywhere. It’s a working space, not a showroom. We spend a lot of time talking about where a wall should go or what color looks right. There are a few of us who work here together. We aren't a big corporate company. We are just a small group that likes designing spaces. We have our good days and our bad days like anyone else. Sometimes the lift in the tower is slow, so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving. We don't have a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just take a space and try to make it work for the people living there. Kollam is a nice place to be based. We know the local shops and where to get materials. If you are near the fire station, just look for Karthika Towers. We are usually there working and drinking some tea.
