Aditi International Import & Exports

Our office is situated near the Techno Park in Kollam. It is a very busy area with a lot of cars and people moving around all the time. We spend the majority of our day handling paperwork for imports and exports. It involves a lot of phone calls and checking manifests to make sure everything is where it should be. Moving goods across the water or land takes a lot of waiting and sometimes things get delayed at the docks. The office isn't very large and it is often filled with the sound of the printer clunking away. We have folders and stamps scattered across the desks because there is always a new form to sign. The humidity in Kollam can be quite high, so we keep the fans going full speed most of the time. We grab lunch from the small food stalls that cater to the tech park crowd nearby. It is a lot of coordination with different agents and truck drivers who come by to drop off documents. Some days are slow when we are just waiting for emails to come through, while other days are a complete rush to meet a shipping deadline. We have been at this spot for a while and have learned how to navigate the local customs rules. It is just a regular place doing the daily work of international trade without any fuss.
