You can find Zodiac Express over at 36/11 Dr. K D Mukherjee Road in the Behala area of Kolkata. It’s a busy part of town, and our office is right in the thick of it. We deal with express deliveries, so our days are usually a bit of a rush from the moment we open the doors. The office is pretty basic—just desks, some chairs, and a lot of paper everywhere. We don't have a big marketing team writing things for us, so what you see is pretty much what you get. We spend our time sorting out parcels and making sure the delivery guys have the right addresses. Behala is a crowded place, and sometimes just getting a van down the street takes longer than it should. We’ve got a good group of people working here who don’t mind the fast pace. We don't try to act like we’re some giant global company; we’re just a local business trying to do a good job. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we always try to fix them quickly. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes we stay late to make sure the day's packages are all accounted for. We’ve been on Dr. K D Mukherjee Road for quite some time now and we’ve gotten to know the local rhythms pretty well. It’s a decent place to work and we just keep at it, one package at a time. It’s just how we get things done every single day.
