We are located right near the Jora Manash Mandir on Jorabagan Road. It’s a good landmark because people always get lost trying to find 25/A. Our office in Kolkata is usually full of the sound of keyboards clicking. We do express delivery work, so there is always a bit of a rush feeling in the air. We’ve got some big windows, but they mostly look out onto the street which gets pretty busy during the day. The team here is a mix of older guys who have been doing this forever and a few younger ones just starting out. We don't really do the corporate thing with ties and fancy meetings. We just sit at our desks and get the manifests sorted. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that's just how it is in this part of town. The 700047 area has its own rhythm. We drink a lot of water because it gets so hot in the afternoons. Our shelves are stacked with old ledgers and files that we probably should have thrown away years ago. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s ours. We try to be helpful when people call with questions about their packages. It’s a straightforward job, and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just work hard and hope for a smooth day. There is always a lot of tea drinking happening in the back room.
