Woodlands Medical Centre Ltd.

Woodlands Medical Centre Ltd. has been at 8/5 Alipore Road for quite some time now. Alipore is a bit greener than other parts of the city, but it’s still plenty busy. The building is large and has a lot of history to it. You can feel it in the hallways. We have a lot of different departments spread out, so there is always someone walking somewhere with a clipboard or a tray. The staff here ranges from people who have been here thirty years to new kids just starting out. It’s a bit of a mix. We don't go for that super-modern, sterile look you see in magazines. It looks like a place where real work happens. The waiting rooms have seen better days, but the chairs are comfortable enough. We deal with a lot of phone calls and insurance papers, which is the boring part of the job. But then there are the patients, and that’s why we are here. Every morning starts with a handover and a lot of coffee. It’s a big operation to keep running, and sometimes things get a bit chaotic, but we always manage to sort it out. It’s just a regular part of life on Alipore Road. We keep the lights on and keep things moving, day in and day out. It is a solid old place that everyone knows.
