Our office is up on the 5th floor at 12-A, Netaji Subhas Road. It’s one of those busy streets where something is always happening outside. Climbing up to the 5th floor can be a bit of a workout if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we'd like. Welcast Products has been operating from this location for quite some time now. The view from the windows isn't much, just other buildings and the tops of cars, but it gives us some natural light. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the records and product samples we keep on hand. We aren't trying to impress anyone with modern furniture or glass walls. It’s just a functional space for a small group of people to get through their daily workload. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking ledgers. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the old papers around, but we try to keep it tidy. Most of the staff have been here for years, so we’re more like a small community than a corporate team. We don't have fancy titles or big meetings. We just start at nine and finish when the work is done. It’s a simple way to run things, and it has worked for us so far. No fluff, just the usual day-to-day grind that keeps the business moving along nicely.
