Viva Studies(Suvrasish Shiksha Neekatan)

You can find us over at 10 A, Shibdas Bhaduri Street in Kolkata. It’s a bit of an old area, right opposite the Talki Show Cinema Hall. That cinema hall is how most people find their way here, honestly. We call ourselves Viva Studies, but some people know us as Suvrasish Shiksha Neekatan too. It’s just a small place where we get together to help students with their lessons. Kolkata streets can be narrow and loud, and our street is no different, but inside it’s usually calm enough to get some work done. We’ve been sitting in this building for quite some time now. The rooms are basic, nothing too modern, but they serve the purpose. Students come in from different parts of the city, though most are from around here. We spend a lot of time going over textbooks and writing things out. It’s not a flashy center with bright lights. It’s just where we teach. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but nobody really minds once the books are open. We see a lot of young faces every day. Dealing with exams is always stressful for them, so we try to keep things grounded. It’s a lot of paper, pens, and talking. If you find yourself near the cinema hall, you’re basically there. We’re just local people doing our bit for the kids in the neighborhood. It is just part of the daily life on this street.
