Vinay Cements Ltd (Calcom Cements India Ltd)

We share the workspace at P-9 Dorga Road, specifically in Flat 5 on the first floor. Some people know us as Vinay Cements and others call us Calcom Cements India Ltd, it just depends on which project we are talking about or what paperwork we are looking at. Being up on the first floor is nice because we are slightly away from the direct noise of the street, though Park Circus is never truly a quiet place. The office is pretty basic and functional. We have got our files, a couple of old computers, and enough chairs for whoever is working that day. We handle the cement business for this whole region from this spot. It is not a large place, just a regular Kolkata flat that we converted into a workspace. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people at the door. Usually, someone just looks up from their desk and says hello when the door opens. We spend a lot of our time on the phone, coordinating things with the plants and the drivers. The location is good because it is central, even if the traffic on Dorga Road is a nightmare most afternoons. We have been here a while and know the local tea stall guys and the other businesses in the building. We do not try to make the place look like a big corporate headquarters because that is not who we are.
