We've been here at 14, Netaji Subhas Road for a while now. The office is on the second floor, which keeps us away from some of the street noise below. Dealing with alloys and forgings means there is always something moving or a truck coming in, but up here at Vikrant Alloys & Forgings Pvt. Ltd., it stays fairly steady. People sometimes get confused about the stairs, but once you are inside, it is just a normal workplace with desks and papers. We mostly focus on getting the orders right and making sure the forgings are what they need to be. It is an old building, but it works for us. Usually, the mornings are busy with phone calls and checking on the production progress. We don't really do much fancy stuff around here; it is just about doing the job every day. Sometimes the tea man comes by, and that is the highlight of the afternoon. We see a lot of the same faces coming through the door. Being on Netaji Subhas Road puts us right in the middle of things, so we are never really isolated from what is happening in the city. It is just how we run things, keeping it simple and making sure the work gets done without too much fuss. If you are looking for the office, just head up to the second floor. It is not a huge place, but it is where everything for the business happens.
