Our office is located in Flat A4 at P-159 Parnasree Pally in Kolkata. It’s a residential-feeling neighborhood, which is nice because it’s not as loud as the city center. We’ve been working out of this flat for a good stretch of time. It’s mostly where we do the planning and the technical stuff for the water solutions we work on. Kolkata is a big place with lots of old pipes and new buildings, so there is always something to look at. We spend a lot of our time looking at charts or talking to engineers about how to fix things. It’s not always exciting, but it’s important work. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some computers, a few chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of maps of the local area. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to say hello, which gives the place a friendly feel. We don't go in for big advertisements or trying to sound like we are bigger than we are. We are just a group of people who know a lot about water technology and want to make sure things are working right. Usually, the day ends with us cleaning up the desks and making a list of who we need to visit the next day. It’s a steady pace and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
