We’ve been at this spot in Santoshpur for a while now. Flat No-5 on K.K.Mazumdar Road is where we keep things running. It’s not a huge fancy office, just a regular first-floor place where we handle the conveyor stuff and automation projects. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and looking over technical drawings. People around here know us as the folks who deal with the heavy rollers and belt systems. It gets a bit crowded with all the paperwork and spare parts lying around sometimes. We just focus on getting the machines to move right for the clients who need them. Being in Kolkata means we deal with the heat and the traffic like everyone else. Sometimes the power goes out or a delivery gets stuck in narrow lanes, but we manage. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to make sure these conveyor belts don't stop mid-shift. It’s practical work. We’ve got a small team here. Most of us have been doing this for years, so we know which parts tend to break and how to fix them before it becomes a bigger headache. If you walk up to the first floor, you’ll usually find someone tinkering with a motor or checking a shipment list. That’s just how it goes here. We keep it simple and try to stay on top of the orders that come through. It's a steady life in this part of town. We’ve seen the neighborhood change, but the work stays the same.
