Vector India

Our office for Vector India is in Sonarpur, which is a bit of a journey from the main part of Kolkata. We are located at Natunpally, in a house called Parasmani, care of Mr. J. N. Roy. The pin code is 700150. Sonarpur has its own pace of life, and we’re right in the middle of it. The office isn’t in a commercial building; it’s a proper house. It has that old-school West Bengal feel to it. There’s a lot of greenery around the area, which is a nice change from the concrete and noise of the city. We have a few rooms set up for our daily tasks. It gets pretty humid here, especially in the summer months, so the ceiling fans are always going full speed. We don't have any shiny signs or glass elevators. Just a gate and a front door. Most people who visit us are local or have been coming here for years. Mr. Roy has lived here a long time, so everyone in the neighborhood knows the house. We do our work without much fuss. We aren't interested in being some high-profile corporation. We like the quiet of Natunpally. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow when the monsoon weather gets bad, but we manage. It’s a very grounded way to work. We have our tea breaks on the terrace sometimes when it isn't too hot. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people doing their jobs in a quiet corner of Sonarpur.
