We are situated at 4 Synagogue Street, up in Room 1004 on the 10th floor. Synagogue Street is one of those old, narrow parts of the city that always feels crowded no matter what time it is. Our office is pretty high up, so we’re away from the street noise at least. It’s a typical Udyog setup—lots of ledgers, some old metal filing cabinets, and a few desks that have seen better days. We’ve been here long enough that we know which floorboards creak. Most of our time is spent on the phone or going through accounts. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or a receptionist. You just walk in and someone will probably look up from their computer and ask what you need. We deal with various industrial things, mostly just the business side of it. The 10th floor is a long way up, and sometimes the elevator is out of service, which makes for a long walk. But we’re used to it by now. We don’t have a lot of decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and maybe a map. It’s a functional place for people who have work to do. We don't really go in for those modern office trends. We just come in, do the work, and head home when the sun starts to go down over the city rooftops. It's a long day sometimes but the 10th floor view of the other buildings is actually okay if you take a minute to look.
