Our office is tucked away in S.K. Banerjee Lane in the Bose Para area of Khardah. If you know Kolkata, you know how these lanes can be. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we like it here. Ut World Wide (India) has been part of this neighborhood for a while. We aren't some big shiny firm in a skyscraper. We’re just a bunch of people working in a regular building, dealing with shipments and logistics every day. The weather in Kolkata can be a bit much, especially in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. There’s a lot of coming and going around here. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists to make sure everything is on track. It gets a bit noisy outside with the local traffic and people walking by, but that’s just life in Khardah. We try to stay organized, even when things get hectic with last-minute changes. It's not always perfect, but we do our best to stay on top of things. Most of us live nearby, so it feels like a real community business. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a workspace where we do our jobs and then head home. It’s simple and it works for us. Usually, there's a stack of papers on the desk and a cup of tea nearby. That's just how we operate. We don't make things complicated with big meetings. We just check the cargo and get it moving through the city.
