Usha Martin Limited

If you are looking for us, we are located in the Sakher Bazar area of Kolkata. The office is inside Vishal Apartment, specifically Flat No. 2B in Block-III on Santosh Roy Road. It is basically a residential building that has been converted into office spaces over time. Because it is an apartment, it feels much more like a home than a workplace. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and heat up our lunch boxes. The rooms are a bit cramped because of all the files and folders we have to keep for Usha Martin Limited, but we make it work. Living and working in Sakher Bazar means you are always close to the market, so there is always a lot of noise and activity right outside. We can hear the vendors calling out their prices from the windows. The elevator in the building is a bit old and sometimes it’s faster to just take the stairs to the second floor. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. You just ring the bell and one of us will let you in. Most of us have been working together in this flat for years, so we are like a small family. We know which floorboard creaks and which window doesn't close all the way. It’s just a normal, everyday office where we stay busy and try to keep things organized.
