We’re over at 46 Ballygunge Gardens, near Golpark. It’s a nice enough area of Kolkata-700019, with plenty of places to grab a bite. Our office at Uptospeed is a bit of a mix of things. We handle professional services, which sounds more formal than it actually feels when you’re inside. The office is often a bit of a mess with papers everywhere, but there’s a system to it all. We don’t have a big corporate handbook or a bunch of rules about how to speak. We just talk to each other like normal people. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we’re more like a family than a workforce. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the walk from the bus stop a bit of a challenge, but we always make it in. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big promises. We just want to get through the pile of work on our desks and make sure our clients are satisfied with what we’ve done. It’s a straightforward approach to business that we’ve stuck with since we opened our doors. Being in South Kolkata gives us a certain pace of life that we enjoy. It’s busy but not overwhelming. We’re just here doing our thing, keeping it simple, and making sure we stay up to speed with whatever comes our way. It isn't always perfect, but we try to be consistent and honest with everyone who walks in.
