Our office is down on Harish Chatterjee Street in Bhowanipore. It’s a well-known area in Kolkata, and being at 2/2 makes us easy enough to find if you know the neighborhood. We’ve been here at Ups Jetair Express Pvt Ltd. for quite some time now. It’s a busy street, often filled with people and local traffic. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of shipping labels. We handle the express side of things, so there is always a sense of a deadline hanging over our heads. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of checking zip codes and weighing parcels. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we’re used to it. We have a few delivery bikes parked outside most of the time. The staff here is mostly local folks who have been around for years. We don’t really go in for big corporate talk or fancy presentations. We just focus on the packages. It can get loud with the street noises coming through the windows, but we just keep working. It’s a practical, straightforward operation. We make sure the paperwork is right and the boxes go to the right plane or truck. That’s about it really. No big mystery to what we do here. We just show up, do the work, and make sure things get sent out where they belong. It's a steady routine for us.
