UNNAYAN NIDHI LIMITED

Unnayan Nidhi Limited is based out of Bodai, over in the Barrackpur II area. Our office is located at the place of Rinku Halder Mitra, which is a well-known spot in the Bilkanda I section. If you are looking for us, you just head toward the Bodai area and ask for the Sudhir Bodai building. It is a very local setup. We don't have any fancy glass walls or high-tech security systems. Instead, we have a couple of sturdy desks and a lot of cabinets for all the files we have to keep. Being in Parganas North, things can get a bit hectic during the monsoon season when the rain hits the roof hard. We just keep our heads down and work through the day. A lot of the people who come to see us are farmers or small shop owners from around the village. We talk to them in the local language and try to help with whatever paperwork they need for their savings. It is a simple life here. We start our day early and finish up when the work is done. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel because we spend so much time there. We know everyone's name and their family history, which makes the work feel more personal. It's just a regular part of life in Bodai for us.
