United Exports (Trade) Co.

United Exports is tucked away on Phears Lane, which is one of those old, narrow streets you find in that part of the city. We’ve had our post box, 12308, for ages. The building is number 60, and it has that old-fashioned look that you don't see much of anymore. Inside, it’s mostly just desks piled high with papers and shipping documents. We do a lot of trading and sending things overseas, so there is always a bit of a rush to meet deadlines before the post closes or the ships sail. It’s a noisy neighborhood with a lot of people moving carts and shouting, but we’ve grown to like the energy of it. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the front door, and we have to put a bucket out, but it’s home to us. We aren't using the latest high-tech gadgets for everything. A lot of our work is still done with a pen and a physical logbook. We know the other shop owners on the lane, and we usually stop to chat when we’re heading out for tea. It’s a very grounded way to do business. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff. If you need us, you just come down to Phears Lane and find the door at number 60. We’ve been doing it this way for a long time, and it hasn't failed us yet.
