You can find us at 579 Talpukur Road, specifically the P-3 section in Sarsuna. This part of Kolkata has its own rhythm. It feels a bit more like a neighborhood than a commercial district. Our office is a simple place. We’ve got a few desks pushed together and some filing cabinets that are overflowing with folders. There is always a stack of papers somewhere that needs sorting or signing. The street outside is narrow, so we hear the rickshaws and the local vendors going by all morning. We don’t have any fancy signs or big glass doors. It’s just a regular entrance that leads to our workspace. We spend our time answering the phone and typing up various reports. The walls are a bit scuffed and the floor isn't always perfectly clean, especially during the rainy season when everyone tracks in mud from the road. We don't mind it much. It’s a comfortable place to work because we aren't trying to put on a show for anyone. We have a small area for making tea and that’s about as much luxury as we get in this building. It’s just us, doing our thing, day in and day out. We know the neighbors and we know which days the trash gets picked up. It’s a practical, no-nonsense office where we just focus on the job at hand and try to stay productive until it's time to lock up the gate and head home for the evening.
