Our place, Unit Costruction Company Pvt. Ltd, is situated at 23A, Ratan Babu Road. We are right here in Kolkata, West Bengal. It’s an old part of the city and we have been part of the landscape for quite some time. We do a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to local building projects. It is not always easy working in the crowded streets but we manage. Our team is a mix of older guys who have seen it all and younger ones learning the trade. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big sign. Most people just know us from seeing our trucks around. We keep our overhead low so we can just focus on the job at hand. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit behind because we are too busy with the bricks and mortar. That’s just how it is here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to do a decent job for the people who hire us. Every day is a bit different. One day we are pouring concrete and the next we are measuring for windows. It keeps life interesting. We’ve had our ups and downs like any other business but we are still here. If you walk down Ratan Babu Road, you'll see our spot. We are usually in and out all day long. It's just honest labor and a lot of sweat. We don't mind the hard work as long as things get built right.
