Our small office is located in Mejbill, Falakata, over at Ashutosh Sarkar’s place. We are right in the middle of the Alipurduar-Jalpaiguri area, serving the local people who live and work around here. It’s a very basic setup because we don't think you need a lot of flash to help people with their money. Most of our members are just regular folks from the village who need a place to keep their savings or get a small bit of credit. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People find out about us because they live down the street or they heard about us from a cousin. Falakata is the kind of place where your reputation matters more than a big sign. We spend our days filling out ledgers and talking to people who walk in. The road can get a bit muddy when it rains, but people still come by to check on their accounts.
