Tycos India is up on the third floor of 190 Jamuna Lal Bajaj Street. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy the streets get with all the porters and handcarts moving back and forth. Climbing those stairs every day keeps us fit, that’s for sure. The building is old, like most things around here, and it has that specific smell of old paper and trade. We’ve been operating from this floor for many years now. It is mostly stacks of boxes and a few desks where we handle the paperwork. We aren't looking to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. Most of our business is done over the phone or with people who have been coming to us for decades. It gets quite loud with the street noise coming up through the windows, but we’ve learned to talk over it. We deal in various goods, mostly wholesale, and our days are filled with checking invoices and coordinating deliveries. Sometimes the lift doesn't work, so we have to carry everything up and down the stairs, which is a bit of a chore. But that is just life on Jamuna Lal Bajaj Street. We don't spend money on advertising because our reputation in the market is enough to keep us going. We just want to do honest business and keep our customers satisfied without making a big fuss about it. We stay busy and keep the accounts in order as best as we can.
