The second floor of number 52 Chawrangi is a busy place to spend your day. We aren't the only ones in the building, so you often run into people from different companies while waiting for the lift. We’ve been here at Tata Steel for a long time, but this specific office is where our small team handles the day-to-day logistics. It's more about rows of files and the sound of keyboards clicking. Sometimes the street noise from Chawrangi gets quite loud, especially during the afternoon rush, but we just close the windows and carry on. We are a practical bunch of people. Most of us have worked together for years, so we know each other's habits and stories. It’s a very human environment despite being part of such a well-known name. We don't spend our time thinking about global strategies; we just think about the orders that need to go out by five o'clock. There's a certain rhythm to the work that feels comfortable after a while. We aren't here to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. We just want to get the job done right so we can go home to our families at the end of the day. It is a steady way to earn a living. Most of us take the stairs if the lift is too crowded.
