Trimurti Motor Parts

We’ve been here at Plot No. 27/1 on Barrackpore Trunk Road for quite some time now. If you know the Cossipore Telephone Exchange, you probably know where we are because we’re right across from it. It’s a busy spot with all the trucks and cars going past all day long. My hands usually have a bit of grease on them by noon. That’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with motor parts and looking through old catalogs to find the right nut or bolt for a customer who’s stuck. It’s not a fancy place, just a shop filled with boxes and shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. Sometimes the dust gets a bit much but we keep things moving. People stop by when their vehicle is acting up or they need something specific they can't find elsewhere. We don't have a big fancy waiting room or anything like that. Usually, people just stand near the counter while we dig around in the back to see if we have the part in stock. The traffic on B.T. Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, but we stay open until the sun goes down. It's a lot of work, keeping track of everything in these stacks, but it keeps us busy. Most of our regulars are local drivers or mechanics who know exactly what they need before they even walk in the door. It is a simple life here between the parts and the road.
