We are located in the Krishnapur area of Kolkata, specifically in Rabindrapally. The address is Ag 177, and we are on the second floor in flat 3B. It is a typical Kolkata neighborhood with narrow lanes and houses built close together. Finding Talbagan can be a little tricky for newcomers, but once you are here, it feels like home. The office isn't very large, but it’s enough for the few of us who work here. We deal with various services, mostly focusing on the logistics and safety side of things. The humidity in Kolkata can be tough in the summer, so the ceiling fans are always humming in the background. We have our tea breaks twice a day, which is a tradition we don't break. It is a very grounded workplace. We don't have a lot of meetings about nothing; we just talk across the room when something needs doing. The sounds of the street, like the fish sellers or the occasional rickshaw bell, come in through the windows. It keeps us connected to the city outside. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide a reliable service to the people who need it. We’ve been in this flat for a while and the walls are covered with calendars and notes. It’s a practical space for practical work. We are just regular people making a living here in the city.
