We’ve been based here in Alipore at 2,B, Hastings Park Road for quite some time now. Most days are pretty busy with the phones ringing and plenty of paperwork stacked on the desks. It’s just the way things go when you’re handling trade stuff and coordinating with different people all the time. Trans India Impex Pvt. Ltd. isn't a fancy place with high ceilings or anything, but we get the work done. The neighborhood is actually quite nice, though the parking can be a real headache some mornings. We usually have our tea around eleven and talk about what needs to be shipped out or which containers are stuck. It’s mostly just us trying to keep everything moving without too many hitches. Sometimes the computers act up or a delivery is late, and we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation; we’re just a group of people working hard right here on Hastings Park Road. If you walk past our office, you’ll probably hear us arguing about logistics or laughing over some joke someone told during lunch. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years, but our spot stays much the same. It’s a lot of coordination and checking lists over and over. That’s just the daily routine for us here in Alipore. We don’t have any big speeches to give, just a lot of work to finish before the day ends.
