Traders & Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is located over at 3/2 Chanditala Branch Road in Kolkata. Our office is in a building called 'Purbasha', which is right in the Charaktala area. The pincode is 700 053. It’s a bit of a local landmark for those who live around here. We have a modest setup. It isn't one of those high-rise offices you see in the newer parts of the city. Instead, it’s a place that feels lived-in and functional. We spend our time working on engineering projects and trading various bits of equipment. Most of the staff have been coming to this same building for a long time. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall owners by name. The street can be a bit narrow and busy, especially during the middle of the day, but that’s just Kolkata for you. Inside Purbasha, we keep things pretty organized, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. We have blueprints and files everywhere. We don't use any fancy management speak here. We just talk like normal people and try to solve whatever problems come up. Being in Charaktala gives us a good base. We are close enough to the main parts of the city but still feel like we are part of a real neighborhood. It’s a comfortable place to work and we’ve been here for a good while now. We just get on with our tasks.
