Race Auto Mobiles Pvt. Ltd. is located at 3A Dr. Satyananda Road in Tollygunge. If you know that area, you know how hectic the traffic can get. We are right in the middle of it all. Most days, we have cars lined up and the sound of wrenches hitting the floor is pretty constant. It’s a greasy job, and by the afternoon, everyone is covered in a bit of oil. We don't have a fancy waiting room with leather chairs or free espresso. It’s more of a place where you come when your vehicle is making a sound it shouldn't be making. The guys here know their way around an engine, and they don't use a lot of big words to explain what’s wrong. We just tell you what needs fixing and how long it’ll take. The building is an older one, and we’ve had to patch up the roof a few times, but it serves its purpose. We keep a lot of spare parts on the shelves, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what we need. We’ve been part of the Tollygunge community for years now. People know us, and we know them. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, we just want to make sure the cars leave here running better than when they came in. It’s hard work, but it’s good work.
