M. C. Mowjee & Co. Pvt. Ltd. is located at 118 Tollygunge Circular Road in Mylapore. This building has been here for quite some time, and you can definitely tell by the architecture. It has high ceilings and those old-fashioned windows that sometimes get stuck when you try to open them. We have a lot of history in this spot. There are old ledgers and files stacked up in the corner that probably haven't been touched in decades. We keep them because it feels wrong to throw them away. The office has a very traditional feel to it. We don’t use a lot of fancy new gadgets if the old ones still work. It’s a bit of a maze inside with different rooms and small corridors connecting everything. Tollygunge Circular Road is always busy, so there’s a constant hum of traffic outside, but inside it’s usually quite calm. We have a small team of people who have been with the company for years. We know each other's families and what everyone likes for lunch. It’s not a high-pressure environment with people shouting into phones. We just go about our business in a steady way. Sometimes the fans on the ceiling make a bit of a clicking noise, but we don’t even notice it anymore. It’s just home for us during the work week.
