Toll (India) Logistics Pvt.Ltd. is based at 7, Dharma Das Row in Kolkata-700 026. This isn't a high-rise office building. It’s a regular place in a regular neighborhood. We’ve been working out of this spot for quite a while now. The street can get a bit narrow and crowded, which makes things interesting when we have deliveries coming through. Inside, it’s mostly just us at our desks, surrounded by files and coffee cups. We don't have any fancy mission statements plastered on the walls. We just come in, see what’s on the schedule for the day, and get to it. Logistics is a lot of back-and-forth communication. We spend most of our time on the phone or tracking shipments on the screen. It can be a bit tedious, but it’s what we do. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or using big buzzwords. We just speak plainly. If there’s a problem, we fix it. If a truck is stuck in traffic on the way to Dharma Das Row, we wait for it. We’ve gotten to know the people who live and work around here. It’s a good community. We’re just a small group of people trying to keep things organized in a city that can be pretty chaotic. Every day is a bit different, but the goal is always the same. We just want to get through our list and do a decent job.
