Tkg Ventures Private Limited operates out of number 6, Kiron Sankar Roy Road. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s full of old buildings and lots of history. Our office is tucked away in one of those spots where the walls are thick and the ceilings are high. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going at full speed. There’s always a bit of dust coming in from the street because it’s a busy area with plenty of people walking by. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a place where we come to work, sit at our wooden desks, and handle whatever business comes our way. The stairs are a bit steep and the hallways can be dark, but it has a character you don't find in those new glass towers. We have stacks of files that we’re always sorting through. It’s a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to filing papers. Sometimes we take a break and go down to the street to grab some street food or a cold drink. Working at Kiron Sankar Roy Road feels very connected to the heart of the city. We’ve been here long enough that we know the neighbors and the rhythm of the street. It’s just a practical, everyday kind of setup for us at Tkg Ventures.
