You can find us at 2 Ram Sett Road, right on the first floor in Room No 2. Timba Exim Private Limited has been based in this part of Kolkata for a while. The building is one of those older structures that you see all over this city, but it works perfectly for what we need. It can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of shipments coming through at once, but we make it work. You can always hear the horns and the street noise from the window, but that is just part of the atmosphere here. We spend most of our hours tracking packages and making sure the labels are correct. It is a lot of small details that can cause big headaches if you get them wrong. Nobody in the office bothers with suits or ties because it is too hot for that anyway. We just wear what is comfortable and get on with the tasks. The big desk in the corner has been there since the day we moved in. We handle both imports and exports, mostly just trying to keep the schedule from falling apart. Sometimes the port gets backed up and those are the days we stay late. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. It is just a working office with a few computers and many folders. It is a very practical way to run things.
