You can find us at 4 C, Sushil Sen Road in Kolkata. It is a typical Kolkata street, which means it is always busy and full of life. The building is an older style, the kind with thick walls that have seen a lot over the years. We are right in the heart of things here in West Bengal. The humidity can be something else in the middle of the year, so we usually have the fans going at full speed. There is a tea stall not far from our entrance where we get our morning chai. It’s a good place to hear the local gossip. Our office is filled with the sound of old fans and the occasional shout from the street. We don't have a fancy website or a PR team writing our stuff. We just have a few desks, some old cupboards for the files, and a lot of work to get through. Sometimes the traffic on Sushil Sen Road makes it hard to hear ourselves think, but you get used to it after a week or two. It feels real here. We deal with people face to face and handle the paperwork as it comes in. It’s a bit cramped maybe, but we make it work and we’ve been here long enough that it feels like the only place to be.
