Our office is located on the seventh floor of Metro Plaza, which sits right on Ho Chi Minh Sarani. It is a central spot in the Midleton Row area. Thyssenkrupp Ece Elevator Pvt Ltd uses this space to manage everything we have going on in the region. Being up on the seventh floor gives us a bit of a breather from all the street noise down below. It is a fairly straightforward office setup without any bells or whistles. We have got rows of desks, some computers that have seen better days, and a lot of binders full of technical specifications. Everyone here has their own way of doing things, but we mostly focus on keeping the various lift projects moving along. The building itself stays busy, with people coming and going from the other offices throughout the day. We don't really have a fancy reception area with someone waiting to greet you; usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from whatever we are doing. It is a working office, not a showroom. We spend a lot of time on the phone with different sites or looking over blueprints. Lunch usually involves someone going out to grab rolls for the whole group. We have been here at number 1 Metro Plaza for a good stretch of time. It is a solid location for us. Sometimes the elevators in our own building act up, which is funny, but that is just life.
