Our office is tucked away in the Space Town Complex on VIP Road. If you know Rajarhat, you know how busy it gets around here. We are in Block 4/2E. It is an interesting spot because even though we are part of an Australian MNC, the daily reality is very much rooted in Raghunathpur. The traffic on VIP road is something we talk about every single morning. Most of us arrive a bit tired from the commute. The complex itself has a lot of different things going on. We share the space with other businesses and families too. Inside our part of Thiess India, things are pretty straightforward. We have desks, some old filing cabinets, and a kitchen area that’s seen better days. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. The focus is always on the current project list. Someone is usually on the phone or typing away at a report. We get the occasional rain that floods the road outside, which makes for some fun stories. It is a practical space for practical work. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards know all our names. It feels like a small community within this big building. We just show up, do what needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down. It's a regular job in a busy part of West Bengal.
