Thea Exim Llp

Maharshi Debendra Road is one of those old parts of Kolkata where trade has been happening for centuries. Our office, Thea Exim Llp, is at number 20. It is a very busy street, especially in the mornings when the trucks are unloading near the market. It can be quite loud and dusty, but you get used to it after a week or two. We focus on export and import work. It is mostly about knowing who needs what and where to find it. We spend a lot of time checking prices and talking to people at the port. The office itself is tucked away in an old building with high ceilings and those big old fans that click while they spin. It is not a modern glass tower, but it definitely has character. We have piles of documents everywhere because the export business loves paper. Some days are slow, just waiting for emails to come through from different time zones, and other days we do not even have time to eat lunch. We are not some giant international firm with offices in every country. We are just a local team in Kolkata doing our best to navigate the world of international trade. It is interesting work because you learn something new every day about how things are made and where they go. We just keep our heads down and keep the business moving forward one shipment at a time.
